Prehistoric Amber Workshop – Science Kit

Every child who loves creative play and creating their own works will be delighted with the new set for creating their own prehistoric ambers. The little adventurer will be able to boast of a stone in which an insect from the times when dinosaurs walked the world was locked! Thanks to this set, the child can turn his room into a mini laboratory. Amazing fun guaranteed. The perfect set for children who are curious about the world, who like art works and have great imagination!

How to prepare amazing amber?

Someone has to help with the fun. Cut the included soap into smaller cubes. Put two small pieces into a cup and heat it in the microwave until it dissolves. Pour a few drops of yellow dye into the melted substance and mix. We put the mold for our ambers in the refrigerator, in the meantime we cut out the insect that we want to put in the stone. Now quickly pour a little warm glue on the bottom of the mold and stick the worm holding it with a stick (if the glue has solidified, heat it for 5 seconds in the microwave). Put the mold in the fridge for a few minutes and repeat pouring the warm glue. Repeat this step until the mold is filled. When pouring the last layer, you can additionally apply a few streaks of red dye on it. Place the mold in the refrigerator for the last time for about 15 minutes. After removing the finished amber from the mold, rinse it under running water and it’s ready!
